Brief description

Dr. von Homeyer has experience in grant, opposition and opposition appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office, grant proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office, and nullity proceedings before the German Federal Patent Court. A particular focus of his work concerns the conception of patent strategies and the coordination of patent portfolios.

Dr. von Homeyer studied biology with a focus on molecular virology, molecular genetics and organic chemistry at Friedrich-Alexander-University (FAU), Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. Dr. von Homeyer completed his PhD thesis at the Institute of Organic Chemistry, specializing in computational drug discovery and pharmaceutical biology, at FAU in the group of Prof. Gasteiger.

Dr. von Homeyer is a member of the German Chamber of Patent Attorneys, and the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI).
